Now that I think about it, my realistic drawing only became better when I have some reference and was trying to replicate the photograph onto paper. Its the same with my anime drawings as well. Drawing fan art really helps me improve my drawings, because the references I have would act as a support to my lack of drawing skills. None of my fan art is on DeviantArt and its all at my ratemydrawings.com.
"Copying another drawings helps you improve your drawings skill." This is what I realize.
Then the fact that I don't like copying very much is probably why my drawings aren't very consistence. It's sad, when I draw one of my original character that I already design before, I have to look back at my drawing of it and still the eyes aren't drawn the same. How in the world am I suppose to draw a manga when I can't replicate my own designs consistently? I guess I still need to practice drawing more.
